Last month there were reports that the LG G3 will start receiving the Android 6.0 update in mid-December, however that didn't happen. But the good news is that the update has now started rolling out.
As expected, the update is currently hitting G3 devices in Poland. This was confirmed by LG Poland executive Jaroslaw Bukowski in a tweet, which apparently has since been deleted.
If you aren't already aware, LG uses Poland as a sort of test bed for its software updates. Once the roll out is successful there, the update starts hitting devices in other regions worldwide. For example, the recent LG G4 Marshmallow update followed the same procedure.
